As I look back over the last 10 years at all the youth and their families that I have taught through out the world, dance has proven and shown me that it is a powerful vehicle to teach empowerment, confidence, peace and unity. Dance is an incredible communication tool which creates joy, laughter and a reason to celebrate life.

Star Dance Academy is a testament to the philosophies I have gained through my love and passion for dance, people and the diverse dance cultures of the world. Combined with my Kiwi Sport teaching, sports coaching, motivational team building, outdoor pursuits and outdoor recreation tutoring, I dreamt and decided to create a dance programme more unique and more exiting than any dance programme I have ever seen or experienced in my life.

Having taught dance around the world including in New York, Holland, Los Angeles, Australia, Budapest, Hungary, Poland, London, Belgium and here in my home of New Zealand, it is these experiences combined that have fuelled my energies to provide a safe, fun, exciting environment and a launch pad to dance for the stars and help make dance dreams come true

Whether a 5 year old child performing their first show in front of their parents or an 8 year old who has received their last Junior Star badge or an 11 year old about to move from Intermediate class to the Senior class, Star Dance Academy is a place that encourages a journey of dance, a family dance and dance for a lifetime.
